L'avis des experts
The 2019 Las Bacantes was cropped from a warm and dry year. The grapes were smaller and delivered more tannin, concentration and alcohol (it has 15%). Carlos harvested early to compensate and keep the freshness and did a selection of bunches and grapes that fermented in open vats with indigenous yeasts. The grapes were foot trodden and had a maceration of 46 days, then pressed and moved to well-seasoned 500- and 600-liter Austrian and French oak barrels, where it matured for one year. The wine is expressive and open, more Mediterranean than the 2020 I tasted next to it, and ripe, reflecting the year but without excess. It has abundant, slightly dusty tannins. 2019 is a powerful vintage for this wine. 1,560 bottles were filled in March 2022.

vino fresco, corto en boca de escasa persistencia. calidad/precio inadecuada, me ha decepcionado.
