The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Gran Torelló Brut Nature was a warmish year but a year with snow in Penedès, which allowed a healthy crop and perfect ripeness in the grapes. This comes from their oldest vineyards, which deliver wines with more color, structure and complexity. It had a long aging in bottle with the lees (over 70 months), which gives it a lot of complexity and tertiary aromas and flavors and small bubbles, and it's very alive and fresh, with only 11.5% alcohol and good acidity and a bitter and salty twist in the finish. It's balsamic and a little medicinal too. It's a direct wine with a very dry and long finish. As with their other wines, they are increasing the percentage of Xarel.lo, but in 2015 they replaced some Parellada by Macabeo. So, this year the blend was 46% Xarel.lo, 36% Macabeo and 18% Parellada. 10,500 bottles were produced.
