The Wine Advocate:
The pink 2022 Clarete de San Pedro de Olleros is 50/50 Palomino and Mencía all from old vines and was produced like a white but fermented in clay amphorae with indigenous yeasts and was kept with the lees for four to five months. It has a salmon color and an expressive nose that is a little jammy. It has 13% alcohol (the 2021, with 12.5% alcohol, was much sharper, each reflecting the character of the year) and a serious palate with volume and a bitter twist in the finish. 613 bottles produced.
