Barrio de Los Arroyuelos 2022

The red 2022 Barrio Los Arroyuelos was produced with Garnacha from old vines in Burgohondo, Navatalgordo and Villanueva de Ávila in a warm and dry year that delivered a wine with 14% alcohol and a ripe, slightly funky and rustic nose with earthy notes. The different plots fermented with some full clusters, ranging between 15% and 50%, and the wine matured in used 300- to 800-liter barrels. It has a pale color and a medium-bodied palate with some iron-like and meaty flavors and abundant, slightly dusty tannins. 12,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2023.

Garnacha with a classic Cebreros character. More than 30 small parcels in the Alta Alberche go into this wine, combining granitic, iron and quartz soils. Sour cherry and balsamic aromas lead to a structured and powerful palate with dried herbal notes and a green tomato-vine lift. A wine that combines a certain earthiness with pretty rose petal and violets, complex but highly approachable. 2024 - 2028
