The Wine Advocate:
"The 2008 Alfa Spiga is pure Tempranillo from older vineyards aged for two years in oak. The freshness of the vintage provides the nerve for the wine to take the elevage quite well. The wine feels young and unevolved, with primary aromas, an assortment of red and black berries and a medium-bodied palate whose abundant tannins might still benefit from more time in the bottle. Drink now-2018."

En septembre 2002, la famille Ortega Fournier, qui fait aussi du vin au Chili et en Argentine, a racheté l'ancien domaine Hermanos San Juan López à Aranda del Duero.

No lo conocía, y no me ha defraudado. Corpulento, de tanino dulce y de gran riqueza aromática.
No sorprende, ¿Intenso y potente? Fresco y equilibrado.
De lo mejor que he probado en lo que va de año. Es frutal, balsámico y especiado, con un postgusto muy largo. Muy recomendable.
gran vino que a mi particularmente me gusta ya, aunque indudablemente se terminara de redondear el los proximos años
