The Wine Advocate:

The second vintage from the north-facing vines, the 2019 Viladequinta feels more harmonious and reveals better integrated oak. The vines are at some 700 meters in altitude and are ancient (70 to 100 years old), planted with a field blend of red and white varieties, which was the tradition in the zone. It's balanced, nuanced and expressive—very balanced and fresh. It's an Atlantic red with moderate alcohol and good freshness. It reflects the mountain vineyards and the shallow slate soils. Production has increased to 1,700 bottles. It was bottled in December 2020.
