The Tasca family has embraced and harnessed those beautiful sunbeams that shine bright down on the tiny island of Salina, as well as those salty sea breezes, and expertly puts them all into this pretty bottle. The unoaked 2018 Malvasia Didyme Tenuta Capofaro is luminous and bright with a light straw-gold color. The bouquet shows white flowers, honey and coarse sea salt. This is the quintessential beach wine with just a tiny touch of peachy sweetness on the close. Some 19,000 bottles were made.
