L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The current incarnation of the wine previously known as Paisajes V is the 2012 Valsalado, a cuvée of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo named after and from a 1.3-hectare gravel and clay plot in the village of Villamediana very close to Logroño. It has a very ripe, jammy nose with aromas of strawberry preserve and some spices. The palate follows the path indicated by the nose with jammy flavors, but a surprising acidity and austere, sharp mouthfeel, which is a bit contradictory. 5,400 bottles and 100 magnums.
