Martínez Lacuesta 125 Aniversario Gran Reserva 2010
Fiche technique
L'avis des experts
This wine is a successful attempt by the winery to revive its old glories. A special selection of Tempranillo grapes carefully aged for a very long time in American oak barrels, racked regularly by hand. The wine is probably riper and more intense than its 1960s siblings, but it looks fit for improving in the long run. Well grained, rounded and rich, with a velvety texture and a poised finish, still with lots of blackberry fruit and spice. Very characteristic, worth long cellaring but very enjoyable now.
