L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

A blend of old-vine Macabeo and 50% younger-vine Garnacha Blanca, the 2020 Manda Huevos Blanco Carramainas is from a warmer vintage than the 2021, which I tasted next to it. They harvest by acidity, not by alcohol, and curiously enough, the 2020 is slightly lower in alcohol than the 2021; it was harvested 10 days earlier. This has 13% alcohol, and curiously enough, it's more austere and closed on the nose, perhaps with more effect of the lees. 2,916 bottles. It was bottled in March 2022.

James Suckling:

Creamy nose with fine oak spices showing praline, vanilla and butterscotch to the lemon custard and pastry. A hint of crushed stones, too. Fresh, dry and creamy on the palate with a full body and good intensity of flavors. Long yet subtle finish. Pretty serious macabeo from Calatayud. Drink now, but can hold for a few years, too.
