L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

I like the medium-velvety tannins with firmness, brightness and freshness. Full-bodied, racy and energetic. Elegance with structure. 85% tempranillo, 10% graciano and 5% mazuelo. Needs four to five years in the bottle, but already impressive to taste.

Wine Enthusiast:

This dark-violet-colored wine has a nose of blackberry, ground clove and chocolate-covered espresso bean. Cocoa and coffee notes open up on the taste buds with a hint of mint, joined by opulent tannins, dark berry flavors and a touch of brightness that lingers on the palate.

Decanter:

Plush, polished, rich and plump with a ripe redcurrant, vanilla and clove nose, layers of red berry fruits and form-giving tannins. Rather lovely! (Medalla de plata en los Decanter World Wines Awards).

Tim Atkin:

This is a textbook cuvée of Tempranillo with 10% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo, aged in a combination of French and American barrels. Serious, youthful and dense, it's a wine that will definitely repay further cellaring, with compact tannins, perfumed coffee bean and vanilla oak and flavours of liquorice and blackberry. 2023-28.
