The Wine Advocate::

The 2020 Taté was produced with grapes from the zone of As Ermitas in the Bibei part of Valdeorras, from three small plots of ancient head-pruned vines on sandy granite soils that add to one hectare planted with similar parts of Mencía, Garnacha Tintorera, Grao Negro and Merenzao (Trousseau) and 5% of white grapes (Godello, Jerez). It fermented with 45% full clusters in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in two 500-liter French oak barrels for one year, followed by five more months in stainless steel. It has a moderate 12.9% alcohol. It has a very expressive nose with a touch of ripeness (despite the moderate alcohol) and a juicy and tasty palate with round and polished tannins and a fruit-driven finish. 1,240 bottles were filled in May 2022.
