Bursting with red fruit and floral aromas, the 2018 Rockview Ridge Pinot Noir is vibrant and lively on the nose with hints of smoke, fresh black cherry skin, rose petals and raspberry essence in the glass. Medium-bodied, impressive and complex, the wine unfolds on the palate, exposing layers of potpourri spice, red tea, rhubarb and juicy currant, as lifting tannins and succulent acidity bring pleasure. The wine ends with succulent, juicy, red berry expressions, subtly spiced oak tones and vibrancy on the lingering and softly smoky finish. This should drink well for the next 5 years. Well done.
