Ripe and evolved fruit offers custard and apple tarte tatin flavours. A touch of pineapple on the finish with pink pepper spice. Rounded and well-integrated.
It’s good to see the Torres family, rightly associated with Catalonia, doing exciting things in other regions. This granite egg-fermented Albariño, all made with grapes from a six-hectare walled vineyard in Portas, just five kilometres from the sea, has lovely definition and texture, racy citrus and lemongrass flavours, chiselled acidity, a whisper of salt and some classic bitterness on the finish. 2023-30
