The Wine Advocate:

The second wine from their Ribera del Duero project, the 2013 M2 is a blend of five different soils in the villages of Fuentecén, Fuentemolinos, Roa, Sotillo de la Ribera and Pardilla, from vineyards located at 800 to 900 meters in altitude. It fermented in stainless steel and oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in French barriques of different ages for 14 months. I loved the freshness and harmony of this 2013. It's serious, a little austere, balanced and comes through as undeveloped, young and still in need of some more time to bloom in bottle. It has a rare combination of power and elegance, a sense of austerity and harmony. 18,420 bottles produced. - Luis Gutiérrez.
