The deep purple-colored 2007 Vinademoya Leiros is also 100% Mencia but aged for 24 months in French and American oak. It delivers a soaring bouquet of sandalwood, incense, Asian spices, lilacs, and black raspberry. Already complex on the palate with layers of succulent, spicy black fruits, lively acidity, and a nicely proportioned shape, this pleasure-bent offering will benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring and offer a drinking window extending from 2014 to 2022.
