Serres Velles Macabeo 2021

There is one white produced with Macabeo grapes, the 2021 Serres Velles Macabeu, which felt very young. It was produced in two tries, one early to give it verticality and fluidity and a second one to provide more volume and structure. It matured in new 500-liter oak barrels for four months. It's spicy, creamy and generously oaked, with only 11% alcohol and a pH of 3.25. It should get more polished and the oak should integrate with a little more time in bottle. 6,332 bottles were filled in April 2022.
