The Wine Advocate:

The 2011 Expresion is very dark-colored, almost black, with aromas of blackberries, peat, shoe polish and toasty, smoky notes from very good oak barrels. The full-bodied palate is intense-flavored, with plenty of finer-grained tannins, good acidity and balance. This is an impeccably-made, unashamed modern Rioja. It will require a couple of years in bottle. Drink 2016-2021.
