L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

The source of this wine changed in 2019 to a single parcel (El Charco) at 900 metres in Moradillo de Roa, but the quality is every bit as good as it was in 2018. Aged in new French oak, but not dominated by it in any way, this is textured, perfumed and well balanced, with racy acidity, violet top notes, structured, nuanced tannins and layers of blueberry and black cherry fruit. 2023-30

The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Dos Alas Rojas is definitely riper and headier, playing with over-ripeness at 15.5% alcohol, reflecting a warm and dry year in the zone. It was vinified in 500-liter oak barrels that were rolled, where the wine matured for 24 months. It also feels a little too oaky to me... 1,350 bottles were filled in December 2021.
