The 2017 Curii was produced with Giró grapes from a warm year with enough rain for a full ripening of the grapes. It fermented with 60% full clusters in small open-top vats and matured in oak containers of different ages and sizes for 26 months. 2017 was their earliest harvest, and the wines have power and energy. This is somewhere between Jekyll and Hyde; it mixes different soils that for them have a great influence in the wines. This comes from three plots with red soils. It has some meaty notes and hints of dark chocolate. 2,833 bottles and 61 magnums produced.
