Camino de la Torraza 2020
Fiche technique
L'avis des experts
They didn't produce a 2019, 2021 or 2022 from their vineyard in Azagra, so there's a risk that the 2020 Camino de La Torraza could be the last vintage of this blend of 70% Mazuela/Cariñena and 30% Garnacha. The nose is redolent of chamomile and Mediterranean herbs, and it has good ripeness, a strong character of Mazuela, some earthy rusticity, a medium to full-bodied palate and abundant, slightly dusty tannins. In 2020, it achieved 14.5% alcohol, but there's no heat here, as it has very good compensating acidity. This is characterful and expressive, able to develop nicely in bottle. 1,112 bottles were filled in March 2022.
