The Wine Advocate:

I tasted two very different vintages of the entry-level red, the 2017 GR-10 Tinto and one from the much cooler vintage 2018. It's not pure Garnacha, as it has some 12% Cariñena and 3% Syrah, and it's a regional wine that contains grapes from different villages—Cadalso de los Vidrios, San Martín de Valdeiglesias and Cenicientos. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and with around 90% full clusters after a cold maceration. It matured in a combination of oak barrels and foudres of different sizes for nine months. 2017 is a gourmand vintage, with more notes of Mediterranean herbs, headier aromas and an extroverted and intoxicating personality, but there is no heat. This is truly delicious and gulpable, with very fine tannins, finessed and not wide. Great price too. They took some risks harvesting a little earlier and did a lighter élevage (they used a large foudre that is normally used for other wine), and it all paid back. 19,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2018.
