L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"There is also a red 2015 Sierra de Gredos (which will be renamed to GR10 from 2016), a Garnacha-based blend with some 8% Cariñena and 7% Morate. It's a regional wine blending grapes from different villages (Cadalso de los Vidrios, San Martín de Valdeiglesias and Cenicientos) produced with 50% full clusters and natural fermentation. It matured in 300-, 400- and 500-liter French oak barrels for nine months. It has a perfumed, heady nose, very attractive and showy. The palate is medium-bodied with a very nice mouthfeel that made me think of the granite soils. The flavors are focused and clean and the finish quite long. An impressive entry level. 4,296 bottles were filled in September 2016."
