The Wine Advocate:

There were notes of very ripe Monastrell in the 2017 1771, hints of tomato vine and black olives. This comes from their oldest vines, 85 years old. It fermented destemmed in stainless steel and matured in 700-liter French oak barrels for 12 months. It feels quite ripe and fruit-driven, with 14.5% alcohol and a balancing pH and acidity. The palate is medium to full-bodied with abundant, dusty tannins. 7,550 bottles were filled in April 2019.
