Superb leafy red fruit, liquorice, incense and tobacco aromas. Spicy oak dominates the savoury palate. An engaging mature wine with a long, pleasant finish.

One of the more successful 2013 Gran Reservas - the vintage was tricky to say the least - this is still drinking well after a decade. Pairing Tempranillo with 20% Graciano and 10% Mazuelo, it's a classic, balsamic, tobacco leaf and fresh leather-scented red with gamey sweetness and tangy underlying acidity. 2023-26.
