The 2014 Late Bottled Vintage Port was a few weeks from bottling when last seen a few years ago. Now seen in bottle, this is a blend of Touriga Nacional (35%), Tinta Roriz (35%) and Touriga Franca (30%) aged for four years in old oak. It comes in with a long cork, traditional style (but lightly filtered so as to still throw a sediment and not cold stabilized) and with 110 grams of sugar. This is in fine shape and a super effort for this dubious vintage. Showing fine depth and even better structure, this adds classic flavors and a big, powerful finish. This is a beauty that should age well and develop more.
