M9 2018
Fiche technique
L'avis des experts
Aromas of plum, blackberry, stewed tomato, mushroom and paprika. It’s full-bodied with rustic, slightly drying tannins. Some sweet and savory character. Drink now.
Called M9, I assume, because it's made with Tinto Fino grapes grown at 920 metres in Gumiel de Izán, close to the northern limit of the denominación de origen. It's another impressive wine from Diana Moreno, albeit in a tauter, more chiselled style. The new wood needs a little more time to integrate, but this is a bright, complex, refined Tinto Fino with fine tannins and a chalky flourish. 2022-28
