El Valiente de Valdaya 2020

A spicy and dark-fruited red with aromas of blackcurrants, olives, spice box and black beans. Medium- to full-bodied, with grainy tannins and just-ripe black fruit underpinned by bright acidity. Excellent drinkability. Drink or hold.

Marta Ramas and Miguel Fisac use grapes from three distinct parcels in the villages of
Baños de Valdearados, Gumiel de Mercado and Tubilla del Lago to produce this bush-vine
cuvée from predominantly clay and sandy soils. Aged in older wood for 12 months, this has
black olive and violet aromas, fine-grained tannins, succulent red berry and bramble fruit
and a focused, refreshing finish. 2023-28
