From a warmer site, the 2017 Mâcon-Chardonnay Les Combettes reveals an expressive bouquet of fresh peach, honeycomb, pear and toasted nuts. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with good concentration and chalky structure, but with a more enveloping core of delicately sun-kissed fruit too. - William Kelley.
