Parker:

The 2004 Confessor is composed of 85% Tempranillo with the balance Graciano, Mazuelo, and Garnacha. It received the same elevage as the Ethos cuvee but remained in new (Allier) oak for 15 months. It sports a sexy nose of exotic spices, incense, espresso, lavender, toasty oak, and black cherry. On the palate it combines elegance with power; layers of succulent black fruit buttressed by ripe tannin suggest a minimum of 3-5 years of additional cellaring. This lengthy, impeccably balanced effort will easily see its 20th birthday in full form.
