Vinous aromas of just pressed grapes meld with violet, freshly crushed berry and a whiff of scorched earth. The medium-bodied, savory palate starts out smooth and easygoing, with ripe Morello cherry, orange zest and licorice before fine-grained, rather drying tannins take over the close.
