En primer término afloran notas cítricas (tanto de piel amarilla como rosada) que revelan la frescura de la mezcla. Al airearse, se vuelve más complejo con notas más cálidas de melón y especias de pastelería, el final libera tilo y miel.
Bouche
Blanco fresco y esbelto, largo y mineral, equilibrado por una textura aterciopelada en la elaboración.
Température de service
Se recomienda servir entre 7 y 10 ºC.

Hasta 2039, aproximadamente, si se conserva en óptimas condiciones.

Climat
2021 estuvo marcado por las heladas que afectaron al viñedo los días 7 y 8 de abril, si bien la principal variedad afectada fue la tinta Merlot. El mes de mayo fue lluvioso, seguido de un período cálido y seco a finales de mes, permitiendo la floración en excelentes condiciones. Desde mediados de junio hasta mediados de agosto las condiciones climáticas fueron tormentosas e inestables, hasta mediados de agosto que volvió el tiempo seco.

29 hectolitros por hectárea.
Vendanges
Vendimia manual en cajas del 9 al 21 de septiembre.
Vinification
Prensado de las uvas en prensa neumática, desfangado muy ligero del mosto y fermentación rápida a temperatura fresca para preservar el máximo el potencial aromático.
Elevage
Crianza de 11 meses en los mismos recipientes donde se llevó a cabo la vinificación con removidos regulares para poner en suspensión las lías finas.

This is showing aromas of salted almonds, flint, dried pineapples, lemon pith and chopped herbs. Tight, bright and spicy on the palate, with a medium body and sharp acidity. Precise and flinty. Sauvignon and semillon. Drink or hold.

Ripe melon, honeyed lemon, mint, and a kiss of spice all emerge from the 2021 Château Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc, a richer, medium to full-bodied, powerful white from this team that has tons to love. It has a kiss of clean reduction and will benefit from just a year or two of bottle age and should easily evolve nicely over the following decade. The blend is 78% Sauvignon Blanc and 22% Semillon, from a mix of sandy and gravelly soils, that spent 8 months in 50% new barrels.

Decanter:

Fresh and fragrant, white flowers, smells clean. Quite punchy on the palate, strong lemon and lime, sweet tropical and exotic fruit and juicy, a round body and nice freshness too. It has some zip and zing, really lively and captivating definitely with a ripe element, with some small hints of vanilla and white chocolate on the finish along with a kick of acidity that leaves a fresh feeling. Seems the vintage really suits the estate and this style is lovely.

Medium-bodied, supple and seamless, lively and fresh, it possesses bright acids and a juicy mid-palate that concludes with a fresh, ethereal finish.
