Tim Atkin:

Production is very small at only 2,954 bottles from a 0.9-hectare vineyard planted in 1923, but José Luis Heras' varietal  Tempranillo is engaging stuff. Fermented with 30% stems, it’s a compact, focused, serious red with stylish new French oak, concentrated tannins, vibrant dark berry fruit and hints of clove and pepper spice. Drink in between 2024-30.
