The Wine Advocate:
"The NV 1955 Pedro Ximénez Solera Cincuentenario only has a problem if you taste it next to the Solera Fundacional. Even if this wine, which might average 40 to 50 years of age, is dense and concentrated, it feels a little diluted in comparison - possibly the effect of having had to adjust the alcohol level to 15% for the bottling. It has 400 grams of sugar and relatively low acidity, which makes it feel quite sweet. It does not have the depth and complexity of the Solera Fundacional. The first saca was composed of 200 bottles."
