I tasted the saca 1/2018 of the NV 1955 Amontillado Solera Cincuentenario next to other very old Amontillado bottlings from Montilla and Jerez, and it performed magnificently. It's really fine and elegant, with a sharp and chiseled palate, pungent aromas and great intensity. It has unusual finesse, finishing dry and salty, with notes of iodine, seaweed and low tide. It's precise, balanced and long, very intense. World-class juice! 250 numbered bottles were filled in February 2018.
