The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Gorrondona white is mainly Hondarrabi Zuri but with small percentages of other grapes—Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia, Munemahatsa and Hondarrabi Beltza—from their own vineyards and local growers. This is the classical fresh and vibrant Txakoli style with 11.5% alcohol from a slow and cool fermentation with indigenous yeasts selected from their own vineyards, and it is balanced by some three grams of sugar. It was kept with the lees until bottling in January 2020. This is a very classical and classy traditional Txakoli, with the herbal notes on the nose and palate, with good persistence and length. The carbonic gas is subtle and feels integrated with a mineral texture and an herbal finish. A textbook traditional Txakoli. 72,000 bottles produced. There are different 5,000-liter bottlings.
