L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

This is a very serious and precise wine with crushed berries, chocolate, walnuts and flowers. Full body. Density and lightness at the same time. Energetic acidity and drive. Shows finesse. The tannin texture is beautiful. A blend of malbec and cabernet franc. Drink or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

The heady and creamy 2017 Honor is a co-fermentation of Malbec with Cabernet Franc that surprised me by how integrated the oak is after having spent 24 months in barrels, 40% of them new. It's full-bodied, showy and hedonistic, hitting the scale at 15.5% alcohol, but it's surprisingly balanced and soft. Give it some more time in bottle, as it should help the wine to absorb the oak a little bit better. Only 1,250 bottles were filled in February 2020.
