The Wine Advocate:

The 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Aigrots soars from the glass with aromas of wild berries, sweet spices, loamy soil and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, vibrant and intense, it's a deep, concentrated wine framed by velvety tannins and tangy acids. This will be very long lived.

Decanter:

A lovely wine, with a pleasant, lemon-accented apple fruit. The texture is silky and fine, yet there is enough substance that the wine lingers attractively on the finish. Picking started on the 22nd August at this 0.23ha parcel at the top of the slope. The vines are gently pressed and Lafarge has used a vertical press to reinforce the minerality.
