This has exceptional depth for the appellation. Not just a wide spectrum of ripe red fruit, but also licorice, spices and bark. The full-bodied palate has a fabulous textural complexity, the fine tannins building beautifully at the very complete finish. Just doesn't want to stop. From three hectares of ancient vines. 80% grenache with some mourvedre and clairette. Drink or hold.
