L'avis des experts

Decanter:

Grapefruit and lemongrass are presented delicately on the nose. Lovely peach elements on the palate with a crisp green apple and succulent almost lemon juice flavour that excites. It's fresh and lively but still with layers of salinity, acidity and texture - sharp, smooth, well defined and mouthwatering. Feels well worked and I just adore the stone element that comes through - the clean texture, almost like licking a stone. Zesty and alive and so easy to drink. A production of 7-8,000 bottles. Drinking Window 2023 - 2034.

Jeb Dunnuck:

The 2021 Clos Marsalette Blanc is 60% Sauvignon and 40% Semillon, and it's unquestionably another gorgeous 2021 white. White peach, pear, flowers, and a beautiful sense of chalky, almost salty minerality give way to a medium-bodied, vibrant white that has bright acidity, the purity and precision that's common in the vintage, and a great finish. I love it.

James Suckling:

Lovely density and richness to this, with dried lemon and apple. Medium-bodied, dense and layered. Plenty of firmness and fruitiness.

The Wine Advocate:

Exhibiting aromas of sweet yellow orchard fruit, pastry cream and white flowers, the Clos Marsalette 2021 Blanc is medium-bodied, fleshy and succulent, with an open core of fruit and a saline finish.
