Mingling aromas of citrus rind and peach with nuances of paraffin wax, blanched almonds and white flowers, the 2017 Mâcon-Chardonnay Clos de la Crochette is medium to full-bodied, satiny-textured and charming, with good concentration and chalky extract, girdled by lively acids. This is another fine bottling from a very successful vintage for the Héritiers du Comte Lafon. - William Kelley.
