L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

Floral and citrus-scented, the 2018 IGP Collines Rhodaniennes La Combe Pilate Viognier comes from vines planted near Michel Chapoutier's home. It shows excellent balance this year, being neither too ripe nor too rich, but it also avoids any sense of under-ripeness or bitterness.

James Suckling:

A big hit of apricots and peaches, delivered with a slightly smoky, sherbet-like texture. Fun to drink now.

Jeb Dunnuck:

Made from 100% Viognier, the 2018 IGP Collines Rhodaniennes La Combe Pilate has a ripe, Condrieu-like perfume of buttered tropical fruits, apricots, and honeyed flowers. Ripe, medium to full-bodied, and textured, it's a smoking Viognier that's geared for the dinner table.
