L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"Torres has pioneered many foreign varietals and the 2013 Waltraud is still one of the very few Rieslings from Spain, which mixes the grape characteristics with more Mediterranean touches of dry hay and herbs. It has a medium-sweet palate (it has nine grams of sugar) with some citric flavors and ends quite tasty with a pleasant bittersweet sensation. If you don't know what to expect you might be surprised, but if you think German kabinett you are on the correct path. It might develop in bottle for a few years. These Riesling vines have to be quite old by now and they seem to produce naturally-balanced and concentrated juice".
