L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

A wine that gives you a sense of the jewels that are hidden away in the co-operatives - it used to disappear into a larger blend in Uruñuela - this is one of the very best of the Viñedos Singulares. Wild and appealingly savoury, with mountain herb top notes, it's a graceful cuvée of Tempranillo and 1% Garnacha with vibrant acidity, fine, perfumed oak and some underlying grip. 2026-30

The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Raposeras Viñedo Singular was produced with the grapes from a centenary vineyard. It's ripe and powerful at 14.3% alcohol and keeps good freshness and acidity, which make it balanced. It matured in two 225-liter French oak barrels, one new and the other third-use. Only 720 bottles were filled in August 2022. - Luis Gutiérrez.
