The Wine Advocate:

The old-vine cuvée 2016 Pago de Valdoneje Viñas Viejas seems to have benefited from a cooler, more Atlantic vintage than the 2015. The floral notes are clearly in the foreground, and the oak feels much better integrated. It's nicely textured, with fine tannins and good freshness. Mencía doesn't have much acidity, and the wines only show freshness when they come from certain places and when the grapes are not picked too late. 7,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2017.
