"The 2016 Neno de Viña Somoza is their regional Godello from different zones and soils of Valdeorras, but avoiding the banks of the Sil. It fermented with indigenous yeasts, and in this lighter and fresher vintage, it was kept with lees in stainless steel vats and French oak vats where it also fermented for some six months. It's very obviously young, still primary and not so giving in the nose. But the palate shows a balance and an austere minerality and super tasty flavors. This should improve with a little bit more time in bottle. 31,000 bottles produced and bottled in four different lots. I tasted from a bottle that was filled in late May 2017".
