Masusta 2018

The red 2018 Masusta comes from an organically farmed vineyard (not certified). It fermented in a way to preserve the varietal character of the Garnacha, and it matured in neutral oak barrels over two winters to achieve a natural stabilization of the wine. It's ripe and full at 14.5% alcohol, but it's balanced and shows no excess. The oak is completely integrated, and the wine is juicy and reveals fine-grained tannins and pure flavors. 3,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2020. - Luis Gutiérrez.
