Molitor's dry 2017 Riesling Haus Klosterberg is shiningly bright and intense on the nose, offering a coolish-flinty Riesling bouquet of citrus notes and a refreshing slate spiciness. Round and juicy on the charming, textured palate, this is a lovely aromatic and energetic Riesling in perfect balance. The often racy acidity of 2017 is perfectly ripe and soft here and makes this the finest Haus Klosterberg I have ever tasted. Can you imagine this is only the very first Riesling of 65 total 2017s. Tasted in March 2019.
A la edad de 20 años, Markus Molitor tuvo que hacerse cargo de la bodega de su padre. A pesar de su juventud e inexperiencia, su objetivo fue claro y preciso, y no fue otro que el de producir uno de los mejores rieslings del Mosela.

Para mi gusto demasiado ácido, cítrico, quizá algo con toques más dulces me habría encajado mejor, fallo mío!
