L'avis des experts

Jeb Dunnuck:

The single vineyard 2016 La Nieta is a tiny production release (there are just over 400 cases) that was brought up all in French oak. This deep purple-colored beauty offers rocking notes of smoked black fruits, dark chocolate, graphite, crushed violets, and scorched earth. It's rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, yet stays elegant and seamless on the palate, with ample yet fine tannins that show on the finish. It's a layered, mineral-driven Rioja that needs time, but it’s loaded with potential.
