La Malvar de Más Que Vinos 2015

The 2015 La Malvar de Más Que Vinos is produced with the local white grape Malvar, which finished fermenting in barrel after starting in terracotta amphorae; it was kept in contact with the lees until it was bottled in March after the harvest. The first vintage for this wine was 2010, when they started recovering the grape. They still don't have much volume, but have already accomplished a very nice style combining balsamic notes with subtle oak creaminess, and a core of magnolia flower aromas that is very pleasant. The palate shows good volume with balance and clean flavors, developing some complexity and a very tasty finish. 4,000 bottles produced.
